Bird I.D Please
I saw the bird in the photo's whilst being on holiday in puerto pollensa, mallorca, couldnt i.d. it at the time, am i right in thinking it is a spotted flycatcher?
I also so a raptor that i believe was an Eleonora's Falcon, (didnt have a camera on me at the time) would this make sense for a bird that appeared slightly larger then a kestral as well as darker and more slender. the bird was circling around 20-40 ft from the ground in front of the mountains that sit behind peurto pollensa

The bird in the photos is a flycatcher and it has to be a Spotted, but a bit of overexposure has burnt out the streaking on the breast.
Identifying an Eleonora's Falcon from your description is not exactly easy, but you are in the right place and at the right time (assuming your sighting was recent?). They are relatively common in Mallorca at this time of year when they prey on migrating hirundines, especially House Martins.
