    Default Birding Asia 10

    Hi there

Birding Asia 10 is now out. With 112 stunning colour-packed pages it should keep asian birding fans busy for a while. The photo of a pair of Scaly-sided Mergs is my fave run close by the spectacle of 1000s of Baikal Teal at dusk in Korea

    contents include articles on:
    raptor migration in Thailand
    Bengal Florican in Nepal
Ten years of the Phillipine Cockatoo conservation programme
The Korean Grand Canal - another huge threat to the region's wetlands and waterbirds
Rediscovery of Milky Stork breeding in South Sumatra
    Spotlight on Sulawesi and Halmahera

    Forest Owlet in central India
125 years of Bombay Natural History Society
First record of Black-bellied Storem Petrel in Sri Lankan waters
First sighting of Amur Falcon in Singapore
The east Himalayan subspecies of Blyth's Tragopan
    Hodgson's Frogmouth in Bhutan

and several more - a great reason to join OBC in its 25th year.
