    Default Portuguese Rarities Website

Gonçalo Elias has developed a website called "Birds of Portugal" ( ) which is in Portuguese, but has now just created a micro-site "Portuguese Rarities" which is in English:

*For any visiting birder who is fortunate enough to find a rarity and wishes to submit a record please visit the "Raridades" section (in English) of the SPEA website: . Here you will find the members of the Rarities Committee, lists (as PDFs) of the species requiring adjudication by the Committee for Portugal Mainland and its Island Territories, and the down-loadable submission form (in English).

And if you are not a member of SPEA, please consider joining if you are a frequent visitor here!
