Greetings bird brains
I am a UK citizen in Taman Negra, Malaysia just now.
My morning walk today revealed a Malay Peacock Pheasant (luckily that's now all 4 endemics sighted on this trip)! The bird was a male and I had good views of him for about 15 mins. On the way back 2 pairs of Crested Firebacks and Crested Partridge.
Other birds seen here recently include Firebacks (I am not calling them 'Crestless" for obvious reasons) Gt. Argus Pheasant (seen twice same time of day at same spot) a pair of Bat Hawks one with bat!, Hooded Pitta, Grey-headed Fish Eagle and Brown Fish Owl (white wing markings...not Buffy?)
Anyone in the area come on down! Very dry weather just now so few leeches.

Not sure why your introduction has been overlooked, but welcome to the Forum. Sounds as though you have some interesting birds down there - do you do any photography?
