I'm still getting used to the format of this web site and suspect I posted a question in the Hello forum that really belonged here. I live in SE PA and saw this bird at a feeder outside our kitchen window today. The photos aren't great because they were taken through the window, but I wondered if anyone had any ideas about what this might be? My first thought was "disfigured cardinal" - it is about the size of a cardinal or perhaps a bit larger, but has a head/beak looking more like a turkey vulture. I've never seen anything like this before. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
