I have still not got my Bigma back from repair (Still in Japan) so I have had to go to the other end of the wildlife photography range and larn to use my new Sigma 150mm Macro lens. What a superb lens this is. All I have to do is practise and get the best from it.
This image of the Dance fly (Empis livida) was taken last night.
This image was taken hand-held with the Olympus E500 + Sigma 150mm Macro. Shooting detail:- Fill-in flash, f18, 1/160s, ISO 400.
The fly is only about 9mm long and I think this image says a lot for the Sigma lens.
PS This image is NOT cropped.
