In western Brittany at Cap Sizun:-
a good year for ringing Choughs with 7 young ringed recently and on Ouessant or Ushant nearby 17 young colour ringed with four pairs in Leonais nearby rearing a further 11 young.
My colleague Dr Christian Kerbiriou has done a Phd on the Red-billed Choughs
in western Brittany with news of a Griffon Vulture now present in the
Monts d'Arrree reserve near les Parc Naturel Regional d'Armorique in the Montaignes Noires in western Brittany west of Huelgoat, where there are breeding Curlews and normally four species of Harriers summering with regular Short-toed Eagles and orther interesting raptors and birds.
