Camped at Felxistowe ferry last nite & had Golden Plover, Curlew, Wimbrel and Oystercatcher calling while I (tried) to sleep.
Woke up to Linnet & Dunncock Song.
Quick look aboot Landguard AM produced no grounded migrants but good wader passage: Oystercatcher, Wimbrel, Blackwit & a bonus Grey Heron.
Adult Yellow-legged Gull @Gt Livermere when I gots home along with singing Reed Warbler, eclipse Shoveler & 2 Common Sandpiper

No doubt if you'd camped out tonight instead you'd have got more grounded migrants, but also very wet . . .

Really enjoyed by day at Southwold. The 137 Black tailed Gods were very close. One had a series of colour rings on too. Saw the Limosa (big billed and a bit different) Fifteen Skylarks on marshes was (to me) a good count. saw a 1st win? Yellow legged Gull on the harbour wall.
Maybe some sea watching next week. Bumped into Times Sports columnist Simon Barnes who had seen an Arctic Skua from his beach hut during last week.
No sign of any passerine migrants but heavy rain tonight may ground some in the morning.
