ID help please
I would be grateful for some help in identifying these birds spotted on our recent holiday in Mallorca. Sorry for the awful quality of the pics - seems to be standard for me.
Unknown 1 is of a couple of finches or buntings seen in the Boquer valley in early August. I wondered about Cirl Bunting but is that wishful thinking because I have never seen one! The left hand bird has some marked striping on the back.
Unknown 2 was taken in Albufera Reserve - I did see a definite Wood Sandpiper a few minutes later but this doesn't seem to be the same bird as the pic doesn't show any spangling on the back.

1 They look like juvenile Cirl Buntings
2 Isnt a wader,it is a wagtail. Possible juvenile Blue headed as it appears to have a yellow cast as opposed to White Wagtail.

Would agree with 'shearwater' that the first pair of birds could be juvenile Cirl Buntings - the streaking on the back of the left-hand bird fits, but the facial pattern of the right-hand bird is difficult to see.
The second bird is a juvenile "Yellow" Wagtail, but (given the location) it is most likely a Motacilla flava iberiae rather than a Blue-headed (M. f. flava), but that is nit-picking.
Great photos Richard!!

It was nice to have my suspicions of Cirl Bunting confirmed. I can't believe I didn't think of Wagtail (whatever the species).
Thanks for the help.
