The bill on this Gull threw me - Is it a 1w Herring Gull?
As no stated elsewhere (if you see what I mean), your gull is a Herring Gull. Structure, bill shape together with paleness in scapular region suggest Herring over Yellow-legged. Can be aged as a 2cy (2nd winter) due to blackish tertials (brownish in juv/1st winter, and worn by now in a first winter), with a wide whitish tip and blackish subterminal mark and the Herring Gull trademark, clear whitish notching along the eges. Quite variable.
