I'll try to keep a bit more up-to-date with posting news and images from my local patch than last year .
This last week I have been busy painting for HBW, so have only ventured out infrequently. The bad weather has seen good numbers of Woodcock around, and I have at last got a reasonable image (they like to be in darker areas, and run away if you get too close). Also, I've had 30+ Twite near the Bailey Bridge, a Snow Bunting and Sanderling on the beach, ringtail Hen Harrier of Reydon Marsh, plus 940+ Barnacle Geese, lots of Red-throated and a single Gt Northern Diver offshore. No unusual gulls yet.
