Hello everyone!! I live in northern Indiana and we have about a dozen or so chirping sparrows who have taken up residence in our back yard. I have been using a wild bird food that contains black oil sunflower, millet, cracked corn, milo and wheat but they are throwing most of it on the ground. My hubby and i looked at what's been tossed and cannot figure out what they like in it, we would like to get something they like or need to eat in the winter for them but don't know where to start. i have seen that they typically migrate south for the winter so i've not had much luck in my research so far, any advice would be greatly appreciated!
