    Default Boreal Owl (Aegolius funereus)

The Boreal Owl is high on most North American Birders wants lists due to its far northern boreal range. This one was photographed south of Kingston Ontario Canada.

    Nice one!

Better known as Tengmalm's Owl on this side of the Pond, where birders go to Scandinavia or the Alps to see them.
