Resident birder Terry Robinson being joined by French birders Jean-Philippe and Sebastien Siblet, the finders of the islands first Yellow-browed Warbler on 29 March at Skala Eresou, have been having a time of it this last week with plenty of stuff passing through/arriving.
In recent days new arrivals/passage birds include Ferruginous Duck, Greater Spotted Eagle, Pallid Harrier, Masked Shrike and Levant Sparrowhawk.
Much more records listed, and a few photos, on the Lesvos Birding website.
I'll keep the updates coming every few days or so as and when I get news from the island. I'll be posting daily updates from 20 April when I'm on the island myself. If your going out there this spring, I'll post details later about how you can get your own records to me to be included in the daily updates.
