Took this photo in Largs, Scotland, a couple of days ago and having done a some research i'm prtetty sure its a Rock Pipit, based on the white front throat, plus striping, and the 2 white lines on the face. As you can see, it is also on rocks beisde the sea.
Normally i would seek confirmation from my birding 'mentor' but he is away for two weeks and so i cannot ask him.
Apologies for the quality - i only had an 18-55mm lens on my camera as i was sight seeing rather than proper birding at the time. Therefore, i have cropped these images heavily.
