    Default Red throated bird

    Once again I need help in a bird at my backyard Arkansas feeder. It has a bright red throat, blueish/black back with white along the sides. It resembles a barn swallow except the throat is redder and the tail is not forked.

    Hi Casey, Michael is probably right. It's our most common requested bird to ID at this time of year as it's a real brute of a bird and beautiful too and brightens up a spring feeder. Here's more info:
