I went down to Point Pelee a coupe of weekends ago. It is a stopping off point for birds crossing Lake Erie on their migration north. What an amazing experience - the forests were literally a symphony of bird song.

This weekend was much less spectacular ....a walk on Leslie Spit. But this Northern Flicker was a treat. They actually breed on the Spit.
And the Swallows were around in all their glory
