Whilst browsing the internet and chasing up a few rare gull reports, I found the following birds that I found less than convincing.
The top image shows a 3rd-summer Yellow-legged Gull photographed at Loch Ryan, Stranraer, and the next cluster, a selection of Caspian Gulls photographed in London.
I believe the top bird to be a 2nd-summer probably graellsii LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL, the second an adult COMMON GULL and the last two both LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULLS.
What do other birders think?
