Good Morning everyone
I was in London yesterday with my good lady and as we stood waiting for our connection on Paddington's west bound platform, I had my own unusual connection land on the east bound platform. A Grey Wagtail landed out of nowhere on a wall. For those who know the Platform it is not underground and you can see good amounts of sky through the architecture. The bird only stayed for a split second gave a few characteristic bobs of its tail and then was gone.
Does anyone else see this as a little strange? I know birds can turn up anywhere but this did strike me as a bit odd.
Oh I have just been doing some research on the matter and I have found a quote saying that in winter theses birds can sometimes turn up in city centres. Well was still a brilliant site.
