This is my First post, other than saying "Hello"
I had a great Day Birding at Upton Warren in Worcestershire yesterday.
It was my first excusion to the site, but it will not be my Last. I am always on the look out for Local sites to visit, I will certainly going here again.
I saw 41 different Species in the day. Many, obvious usual birds for the area, but the viewing quality of bird behaviour was very good. I had excellent views of the Lakes, and the High Level hides by the Feeding Stations give great Views of the Tits, Finches, etc, on the Feeders
The site has 7 hides, 4 at High Level, which prove great for viewing. The highlight for me on the day was a Pink Footed Goose, which was in a Gaggle of Greylag Geese on the Flashes Pool.
The Weather was Excellent , All in All, an Excellent day out.
All the Best
Here is a photo from yesterday. I only noticed after I took the Picture, that the Great Tit has his mouth open enjoying that peanut.
