There are some photographs of Eastern Nightingale (Luscinia (megarhynchos) golzii) at www.birdsofsaudiarabia.com taken on 20th June 2010 in Al-Khobar, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. Unusually the bird had been present from the previous winter and June is also a late date for this species although they have been known to rarely summer in UAE.
This is a possible split (Surfbirds post by Brian S, Feb 14th 2009 – Dutch Birding Taxonomic Splits ) from Common Nightingale and a potential migrant to the UK and Western Europe. The photographs show how the bird changes looks in different positions.
Another excellent photograph taken in Kuwait is here http://flickr.com/photos/rashed11112/5592470931
