    I just joined the surfbird comnunity, triggered by a message on a mystery shearwater from Tasmania. My name is Edward. My intrests are seabirds in general, and tubenoses in particular. I'm very much intrigued by the skeletal and other morphological characteristics of seabirds in relation to their ecology. I work on a (private) reference collection of seabird skeletons.

    Your research sounds interesting! Have you tried searching the Surfbird forum for past posts relating to petrels and shearwaters? There's been quite a lot of good stuff recently, and much that should interest you.
