This was one of two juveniles present, typically dapper with 'watercolour' brown upperparts, simple feather pattern and a slim, albeit not long, bill. Feather wear is already evident, a clue to its age being greater than the many juvenile LBB and Herring Gulls also present at the site. Also present were several juvenile 'michahellis' offering a good comparison.
