Adult Ross's Gull found by Edmund Hayden. Undoubtedly associated with the 44+ European Golden-Plovers, and 4 Black-tailed Godwits that have arrived on Northeast winds.

The Euro invasion in Nfld continues - today I found two more Black-tailed Godwit in St. Paul's; this is the west coast of the island and ~500 km from the two reported yesterday (they were also seen today); the two Euro Golden Plover I saw yesterday were also seen this morning (~20 km from the godwit)

This adult (female?) Common Ringed Plover was present at Renews 17-19 Aug, found by Ken Knowles. The species is found nearly annually during August in recent years on the Avalon Peninsula.
