Surfbirds Share A Photo
By-the-Wind Sailor , United States, Bolsa Chica State Beach, Huntington Beach, CA, Apr 2023
They have been washing up on the local beaches for over month. Similar to Jellyfish, but more closely related to the Portugues Man-O-War. The vertical fin acts as a sail moving them around. As they bob along, they slurp up plankton that gets tangled in their tentacles.
