The October log

The Isles of Scilly Bird Group will again be organizing the "log" at the Scillonian Club throughout October. The main Lyonnesse Bar will be used for the busy 3 weeks from October 5th to October 25th, and the back bar for each week before and after those dates.

The ISBG will be liaising with local land-owners to open up trails during the period and these will be announced at the log and fully sign-posted.

Once again there will be tables where various goods and services for birdwatchers will be displayed including photographers, artists and travel companies. There will also be slide shows during the middle 3 weeks.

The ISBG will have its own stand where you can get this years review and also see details on the conservation work and donations towards conservation that have been carried out in the last year. Visitors will be invited to put forward ideas on where money should be spent for the next conservation project for the islands.

We look forward to seeing old friends and new faces.
