1 immature at Cape of Good Hope N.R. on 24/11, 2 Augrabies N.P. 27/11, 3 Graaff-Reinet 01/12. Plus several roadside sightings.

1 on the journey to Springbok on 25/11, 1 over the hotel at Graaff-Reinet 30/11 and 1 roadside bird on 01/12.

A pair disturbed from a rocky gully at the Red Lark site E of Pofadder on 27/11. 1 sat in full view at about 100yds range for several minutes, before flying to a nearby dune.
Fiery-necked Nightjar (Caprimulgus pectoralis)
15 at De Hoop N.R. on 02/12, along the road from Koppie Alleen to the camp site after dark. 1 around the camp site the following evening.
