Published by Surfbirds Admin (surfbirds AT surfbirds.com)

Participants: Yoav Chudnoff et al

Bulgaria during the month of September is at the crossroads of the autumn migration. Although this trip occurred during the last week of September, we believe that it was successful by providing each of the participants a diverse view of what Bulgaria has to offer.

Regions Covered: Sofia, Eastern Rhodope Mountains, Sakar Mountains, Central-Southern Black Sea Coast, Central Balkan Mountains

Weather: Sunny for all but one day (rain) with temperatures in the mid 20's (Celsius).

Total Species: 178 seen, 4 heard.
